Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms," "TOS") carefully before using the Engagemii platform, including our website, web applications, portals, APIs, plugins, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Engagemii, LLC ("Engagemii," "we," "us," or "our"). Engagemii is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI-visibility platform for businesses.
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are authorized to act on behalf of any business you represent, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a business tool available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide about a business is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.
To access certain features, you must create an account (a brand account, an agency or data account, or a portal login). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any API keys issued to you. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Engagemii measures and helps improve how visible a website is to AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews). The Service may include:
The score, fix kit, and crawler monitoring are free and involve no billing. Paid products (currently dataset licensing, and any legacy subscriptions purchased before September 2, 2026) are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Legacy subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and may be cancelled at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, effective at the end of the current billing period.
Due to the computational cost of dataset generation, payments for dataset purchases are non-refundable once generation has been initiated. For historical paid purchases of reports or fix files, the same policy applied at the time of purchase. No partial-period refunds are provided for legacy subscriptions.
Access to Engagemii datasets, whether by file export or API, is governed by the data license presented at the time of purchase and available at engagemii.com/aeo/data/license. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the datasets except as that license permits. We may impose and enforce rate limits and volume caps on API and portal access to maintain service quality and prevent abuse.
You agree not to: use the Service if under 18; impersonate any person or entity; submit false or fraudulent information; use unauthorized bots or automated tools against the Service; attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access restrictions; scrape or harvest Engagemii data outside the terms of a valid license; reverse engineer the Service; transmit spam or malicious code; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or submit content that is defamatory or infringing.
All content, features, scoring methodology, and technology comprising the Service are the exclusive property of Engagemii, LLC or its licensors. Subject to these Terms and any applicable product or data license, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business purposes. Fix files we deliver to you may be installed and used on the website they were generated for.
By submitting a URL or other input, you represent that you are permitted to request an analysis of that website. You grant Engagemii a limited license to fetch and process the publicly accessible content of that site to provide the Service to you, including generating your score, audit, and fix kit. Crawler-activity data collected by the Engagemii tracker is governed by Section 8a.
The Engagemii tracker (including the WordPress plugin and any install snippet or integration we provide) records visits to your site by automated agents such as AI crawlers and bots. It is designed to record bot activity only, not data about your human visitors.
Engagemii's free products are supported by data licensing. By installing or connecting the tracker, you grant Engagemii, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to collect, store, analyze, aggregate, and commercialize the crawler-activity data collected from your site, both (a) in aggregated or anonymized form, and (b) in a form identified by your domain.
Opt-out. You may opt your site out of domain-identified licensing at any time in your portal settings. Opting out applies going forward; aggregated and anonymized use continues. Removing the tracker stops collection entirely.
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
Engagemii AEO audit reports and fix implementation files (collectively, "AEO Services") are provided for informational and optimization purposes only. The following disclosures apply to all AEO Services:
Engagemii does not guarantee that implementing any AEO audit recommendations, fix files, or structured data will result in your brand being cited by any AI engine, assistant, or search platform, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, or Gemini. AI citation and ranking algorithms are proprietary, frequently updated, and entirely outside Engagemii's control. Results will vary based on your industry, competition, content quality, and the evolving standards of each platform.
All AEO Services are based on current industry best practices for Answer Engine Optimization, including structured data markup (schema.org), llms.txt specifications, AI crawler accessibility standards, and E-E-A-T guidelines as understood at the time of delivery. Engagemii makes reasonable efforts to stay current with evolving standards but does not warrant that any specific practice will produce a particular outcome on any platform.
AEO audit scores and reports are generated using automated analysis. They represent an assessment of a website at a specific point in time and are advisory only; they do not constitute a professional SEO, legal, or technical certification. Engagemii is not responsible for inaccuracies caused by website changes, dynamic content, access restrictions, or platform updates that occur after the audit date.
Fix files are provided "as-is" for use at your own discretion. Engagemii is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or adverse effects resulting from implementing these files on your website. You are responsible for reviewing fix files before installation and ensuring compatibility with your platform and existing site configuration.
For AI citation monitoring subscriptions purchased before September 2, 2026, results reflected queries run against available AI APIs at the time of each check. They were indicative only and may not have represented the full range of AI engine behavior, all possible query variations, or the experience of every end user.
Engagemii datasets are compiled from publicly accessible web sources and openly licensed public data, and are provided on an "as-is" basis. Fields are populated where the underlying source carries them; a blank field is not a defect. Datasets do not include personal email addresses or personal phone numbers. You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws when using licensed data, including any outreach or marketing you conduct.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ENGAGEMII DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENGAGEMII SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ENGAGEMII IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Engagemii, LLC and its affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your use of licensed data.
Please read this section carefully. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the AAA under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to bring or participate in any class, collective, or representative action. Arbitration shall take place in New York, New York.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts in New York County.
We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable product or data license, constitute the entire agreement between you and Engagemii. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
